College Lakes Church Day Care Center meets the needs of families with children.  Open weekdays from 6:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m., a balanced program with a decided Christian emphasis meets the needs of infants through after-school children and their parents.

We have a solid curriculum for two and three-year-olds,  four-year-old pre-kindergarten, and five-year-old kindergarten.  Experienced and loving teachers work with their classes in a structured environment.  Lunch is served daily, along with mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks.

There is a strong emphasis on Biblical teachings of character, good behavior, and the nature of God.  Trusting in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior is encouraged through personal example and the lessons and songs.

What We Offer

• Infants and toddlers are cared for, and have interaction with the teacher and other children.  The children learn beginning songs and rhymes, colors and shapes, and play with engaging toys for a full day between naps.
• Two and three-year-old children learn colors, letters, and numbers, how to get along with others, and how to participate in a learning environment.  Songs, games, craft activities, structured and unstructured play, and activities make the day go quickly.
• Four-year-old kindergarten is a fun, yet effective introduction to school.  With a structured class, the children learn to read with phonics, work with numbers, learn many songs and rhymes, write and draw, have many craft projects, and still have time for stories and structured play.
• Five-year-old kindergarten is a foundational educational experience.  Learning to read phonetically is the basis for all future learning.  With multiple reinforcing projects and activities, the students learn, practice, and drill on letters and their sounds.  The students learn and practice numbers and how to work with them through addition and subtraction.  They learn clocks and how to tell time, and calendars and how to use them. Art and craft projects round out the learning experience.
• After school care is provided for the students who attend the Day Care Center classes or the Academy.  Time and work areas are available for those who have homework.
